North West Venturers’ Yacht Club
Glen Warburton is the Club Commodore.
The commodore is responsible for creating an atmosphere in which the direction, communications and culture are best suited to the needs of the members. This he/she does by guiding the Committee of Management and the various sub-committees.
Christine Hynes is the Vice commodore.
The main tasks of the Vice commodore are the compiling and managing of the weekend sailing programme, fixing the summer cruises and organising the races. He/she shares these responsibilities with the Sailing Captain.
Alison Pattinson is the Rear commodore
The Rear commodore organises (with the help of the Social Committee) all of the Club’s social functions. He/she is also responsible for maintenance of Club premises & facilities, tasks normally shared with the House Officer.

Denise Lewis is the Membership Secretary
The Membership Secretary looks after the applications from potential members and helps them integrate into the Club. He/she is also responsible for ensuring that our membership database is up to date - without which members would not receive Club publications.
